Sampler · 01 Out now · v1.0

A sampler that listens to whatever you load. It finds the tempo and every transient on its own, then plays each slice across the keys with multi-voice playback and per-zone ADSR.

Dr. Breakup plugin interface: waveform editor with slice markers, ADSR, and keyboard
What it does

Load anything. The grid is already there.

It reads what you load

Most slicers only cope with clean drum loops. Dr Breakup finds the hits in chords, stabs, melodies, and sounds with long reverb tails, not just spikes in the waveform.

Tempo, sorted on drop

Drop a loop and the BPM and beat grid land right almost every time. No typing in the tempo, no guessing double or half. It runs on your machine, so your samples never leave it.

From whole loop to single sample

The editor stays smooth at every zoom level. Selecting, slicing, and dragging feel direct, closer to your DAW's audio editor than a typical plugin window.

Play every slice across the keys

Trigger slices polyphonically with per-voice pitch, pan, and ADSR. One-shot, looped, or ping-pong, with MIDI and MPE coming in.
